蔡博義博士是畢業於休士頓大學的會計學博士。曾在州立阿拉巴馬大學伯明罕校區擔任會計學教授共 25 年,並且以正教授職位退休。之後隨即在喬志亞州的肯尼索州立大學任教 11 年,並再度以榮譽教授退休。在 2025 年蔡教授以服事主的心願加入台北基督學院擔任無薪的義務教授。
蔡教授於中年決志信主,並積極參與美國東南部教會的服事,而且也主動的上神學課研讀聖經及神學。他曾擔任伯明罕華人基督教會的執事會主席以及亞特蘭大華人基督教會的長執會主席,也在這些教會裏教授許多主日學課程。
Dr. Bor-Yi Tsay graduated from the University of Houston as a PhD in Accounting. He served as an accounting professor at the University of Alabama in Birmingham for 25 years and retired at the rank of full professor. After that, he continued to teach at Georgia’s Kennesaw State University for another 11 years and retired as a professor emeritus. In 2025 Dr. Tsay, in his wish of serving the Lord, joined Christ’s College Taipei as a voluntary professor without pay.
Professor Tsay professed his belief in the Lord Jesus at mid-age and actively participated in services for the churches in the southeastern USA. He diligently took theological and Bible classes. He also served as the chairman of the board of deacons at the Birmingham Chinese Christian Church and, later, the chairman of the joint board of elders and deacons at the Atlanta Chinese Christian Church. He also taught numerous classes in these churches’ Sunday schools. |
