衣慎行老師

王珮伶老師

• PRIVATE PIANO TEACHING
   After 1 month in Taiwan I set myself up with a piano in my house to teach others.
   I learned Chinese so that I could communicate with the students.
   Within one year of moving to Taiwan I had ten consistent private students.
   Since 2007 I've maintained a private student load of 5-15 regular students.
   I've taught from my home in places including beitou, songshan, xindian, tainan, da an, and ximen ding.
   After 3 years in Taiwan I was teaching some students using only Chinese.
• PERFORMANCES
   With Saxophonist Jimmy Lee Cheng-Yu at Guandu Arts School, National Concert Hall, Kaohsiung ZhongShan University, FuRen University, Taipei City Arts College and Taiwan Cultural University
   Played with Joey Gilmore and others at Taichung Jazz Festivals 2010-2015
   Various gigs at Taipei clubs including Blue Note, Sappho, Riverside, Roxy Roots, Roxy Jazz, Cafe V, Marsalis and Wooloomooloo
   played over 500 weddings and corporate gigs. I was eventually able to memorize such Chinese classics as “Forever Love” and “The Moon Represents my Heart”
• JAZZ PIANO AND TRUMPET SEOUL
   played jazz standards and American songbook classics that people asked for
   worked with countless vocalists playing Moon River, Girl from Ipenema and other favorites.
   played 205 gigs in 100 days in Summer of 2016 Seoul

   Directed all performances and rehearsals with the artist and band
   Toured and performed in multiple cities throughout China and Taiwan
   Arranged all original and cover material for live performance

   Recorded all songs with live band tracking and an ensemble of 19 musicians

   Directed and trained the artist and band for recording 13 songs in less than two weeks
   Coached the artist on song writing and techniques related to artistic development
• SINGLE "HIGHWAY LOVER" MARCUS CHANG
   Finalized and delivered the master file to Sony Records on schedule
   Recorded a total of 15 musicians, including the artist, in 3 days
   Wrote the song with the artist
   Played all keyboards and synthesizers on the song
   Communicated in Chinese to the studio engineers, record company personnel and arranger.
• ALBUM "MODERN TRAGEDY"
   Traveled to and recorded for five weeks in Los Angeles, CA
   Directed the band rehearsals in LA for album recording
   Coordinated recording and rehearsal schedule with the other producer on the album
   Performed piano, organ, fender rhodes, wurlitzer and nord keyboard on all songs
• VARIOUS MANDO-POP ARTISTS
   Confirmed direction of song with the label and/or artist
   Offered concise demos with melody, lyrics, strings and basic band
   Worked with over ten different published Mando-Pop song
  writers
• AMERICAN CLUB TAIPEI
   Directed and designed musical performances for the club's events and various venues based on members requests and responses, contributing to a 35% increase in membership over 4 years.
   Oversaw payment and billing of all musicians that worked at the club
   Taught piano to members of the club
   Performed piano four days a week in the lounge and ballroom
   Coordinated in Mandarin Chinese with Accounting, Maintenance, Food & Beverage and Sports departments
   Produced all of the marketing material for the various musical evenings leading to a 40% increase in member attendance at these events and venues
   Met with the General Manager on a regular basis to generate ideas related to the direction of musical events and entertainment at the club

經歷:
• 1999年 於第36屆德國Klingenthal國際手風琴大賽得獎
• 2003年 於Erfurt埃爾福特戲劇院樂團擔任客席
• 2003年8月 於加拿大Montmagny國際手風琴音樂節慶Carrefour mondial de l´accordéon(北美最大的國際手風琴音樂節慶)，除了獨奏會並於開幕世界首演了加拿大作曲家Chantale Laplante寫給Primoz Parovel 的作品 “Contre nuit“
• 2004年 贏得第7屆西班牙Arrasate國際手風琴大賽 “ Arrasate Hiria“ 最高榮譽
