English language education has been one of the hallmarks of a Christ’s College education since the college was founded over fifty years ago. The English Major curriculum includes general English Major required courses as well as courses specifically designed for one of the English Major emphases: TESOL, International Business Studies, Christian Literature, and Applied English. Together these courses are designed to nurture in each students ability to:
1. Think and communicate in English
2. Express ideas creatively
3. Understand other cultural perspectives
4. Work cooperatively with others
5. Utilize professional skills and knowledge
