Introduction to Master's Program in Christian Liberal Arts

The Christian Liberal Arts Department offers three major fields of study: English, Music, and Communication. Since Academic Year 2021-2022, the Department has provided cross-major learning options in response to the diverse educational needs of adult and non-traditional learners. In light of evolving market dynamics and educational trends, the Department will implement a comprehensive curriculum restructuring beginning in Academic Year 2025-2026, transitioning from a traditional major-based system to a modular framework. This revised structure features four core fields/modules—Intercultural Communication, Music, Marketing Communication, and Sustainable Management—designed to offer students more flexible and career-oriented learning pathways. The Christian Liberal Arts Department's Master's Program was approved by the Ministry of Education in the 2025-2026 academic year. The inaugural cohort of Master's students will enroll in the 2026-2027 academic year!

The central mission of Christian liberal arts education is to cultivate and deepen students’ rational thinking and critical inquiry, to develop their capacity for value judgment and discernment, and to empower them to propose creative solutions to complex issues. Equally important is the ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both spoken and written language. Graduates of a liberal arts education not only acquire solid knowledge and professional skills within specific disciplines, but also develop broad interdisciplinary perspectives and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.

Christian liberal arts education is further distinguished by its faith-based perspective. Christians who receive and experience God’s grace naturally express compassion and care for others. Grounded in biblical truth and supported by an interdisciplinary knowledge base, this educational approach equips students with the tools and capacities for continual growth, enabling them to contribute meaningfully within their professional fields, workplaces, churches, and society at large.
The Master of Christian Liberal Arts program integrates modern management expertise, covering:
“Marketing Communication” to help churches effectively convey vision and recruit members
“Human Resource Management” to cultivate leadership talent and build team culture “Financial Management” to strengthen financial planning and support sustainable development.
Students must complete a total of 33 credits over two years of study, including at least 15 credits of required courses.
