大學法、私立學校法、教育人員任用條例及本校組織規程等校長遴選相關規定:

大學法 University Act

第  8  條

校長之資格,依有關法律之規定,並得由外國人擔任之,不受國籍法、私立學校法及

就業服務法有關國籍及就業規定之限制。

Article 8

The position of president of a university may also be taken by foreign professionals according

to related laws and shall not be bound by stipulations concerning nationality and employment

in Nationality Act, Private Institute Act and Employment Service Act.

第  9  條

私立大學校長由董事會組織校長遴選委員會遴選,經董事會圈選,報請教育部核准聘

任之。前項校長遴選委員會之組成,任一性別委員應占委員總數三分之一以上。

Article 9

..before being selected by the board of directors a Select Committee organized by the boards

of directors (private universities), and then be reported to the Ministry of Education for

approval before implementation..

The representatives of either sex shall take up a third or more of all numbers of the President

Selection Committee.

私立學校法Private School Law

第 41 條

私立學校置校長一人,由學校法人遴選符合法律規定之資格者,依各該法律規定聘任

之。

學校法人之董事長、董事、監察人之配偶及其直系血親,不得擔任校長。校長依法令

及學校章則綜理校務,執行學校法人董事會之決議,受其監督、考核,並於職務範圍

內,對外代表學校。校長應專任,除擔任本校教課外,不得擔任校外專職。

Article 41

Private schools shall install one person possessing statutory qualifications as the schoolmaster.

Spouses and lineal blood relations of the school legal person’s president, board members and

supervisors are not permitted to be the schoolmaster.

The schoolmaster administers the school in accordance with the law and Rules, and carries out

decisions made by the school legal person’s board, which supervises the schoolmaster and

reviews his performance. The schoolmaster represents the school in its dealings with external

individuals and organizations. Apart from teaching at the school, the schoolmaster shall not

hold fulltime positions outside the school.

教育人員任用條例 Act of Governing the Appointment of Educators

第 10 條

大學校長應具下列第一款各目資格之一及第二款資格:

一、具下列資格之一:

(一)中央研究院院士。

(二)教授。

(三)曾任相當教授之教學、學術研究工作。

二、曾任學校、政府機關(構)或其他公民營事業機構之主管職務合計三年以上。

獨立學院校長資格,除依前項各款規定辦理外,得以具有博士學位,並曾任與擬任學

院性質相關之專門職業,或簡任第十二職等以上或與其相當之教育行政職務合計六年

以上者充任之。大學及獨立學院校長之資格除應符合前二項規定外,各校得因校務發

展及

特殊專業需求,另定前二項以外之資格條件,並於組織規程中明定。

Article 10

Presidents of universities should meet one of the requirements in Item 1 and Item 2 below:

1. Eligibility (meet any of the following qualifications):

(1) Academician at Academia Sinica

(2) Professor

(3) Prior teaching and academic research experience equivalent to that required of a professor

2. At least three years of experience, accumulative, as a director in schools, government

agencies, or in other state-owned or private business entities

Other than the requirements mentioned in the individual items of the preceding paragraph,

college presidents shall hold a doctoral degree and have worked in the professional field of

which the nature relates to that of the intended college, or the selected appointment rank of

12th grade or above, or its equivalent, in the field of education administration for at least six

years, accumulative.

Presidents of universities and colleges should meet the requirements in the preceding two

paragraphs. Individual universities and colleges may establish additional eligibility

requirements, according to their needs, and specify these requirements in Articles of

Organization.

第 41 條

私立學校校長、教師之任用資格及其審查程序,準用本條例之規定。但宗教研修學院

校長,得以大學畢業,具有宗教研修教學經驗十年以上及宗教事業機構主管職務經驗

六年以上者充任之。

Article 41

The appointment qualifications and reviewing procedures for private school principals and

teachers shall apply mutatis mutandis to the provisions of the Statute. Principals of academies

of religious studies shall be university graduates with at least 10 years of

experience in teaching religious studies and no less than six years of serving as a director at a

religious institution.

Organization Regulation of Christ’s College Taipei

第 三 條

本校秉承基督書院創辦人賈嘉美博士辦理基督教博雅教育的理念,栽培年輕學子,使

能以品學兼優的專業能力,奉獻服務臺灣的教會及社會。

 

Article 3

The College shall continue adhering to the concept of Christian Liberal Arts Education as set

forth by the founder of Christ's College, Dr. James R. Graham Ⅱ; therefore, provide young

students moral and academic education toward professional excellence in order to better serve

the Christian churches and society in Taiwan.

 

第 四 條

本校置校長一人,綜理校務,肩負校務發展之責,對外代表本校。校長任期三年,連

選得連任。自每年八月一日或二月一日起聘為原則。

當校長出缺或不能繼續執行職務時,由董事長於彙整所有董事意見後,得指派代理校

長掌理校務,並於一個月內組成「校長遴選委員會」,辦理新任校長遴聘工作。

校長遴選委員會之組成,任一性別委員應占委員總數三分之一以上。校長遴選辦法經

校務會議通過,提請董事會審核後實施。

Article 4

The College is headed by the President for the management of college affairs, the college

advancement and development, and the representation of the College. The term of a

presidency is three years; and renewable up to the term allowed by MOE regulation. In any

calendar year, a presidency can start on either August 1st or February 1st.

When a presidency is vacant or when a President cannot continue performing his or her duties,

the Chairman of the Board of Directors can appoint an Acting President after obtaining the

consents from all of the directors. Meanwhile, a President Selection Committee is established

to manage the selection of a new president within one month. The established Committee must

meet the requirement of that members of either gender should account for more than one-third

of the total number of members. The selection rules must be passed by College Council

Committee and submitted to the Board of Directors for approval and implementation.
